Radio system LoRaWAN®
Heat cost allocator with LoRaWAN®

The HCA EURISII-LoRa® is available as a 2-sensor device with and without a remote sensor. With 2-sensor devices the room temperature is measured in addition to the radiator and the consumption is determined using the differential temperature. Therefore, these devices are more accurate and even less sensitive to manipulation attempts. In addition, various functions are implemented that avoid cold counting in summer. For the “self-reading” of the consumption values by the user, a check number for verifying the validity of the reading can also be displayed.
LoRaWAN® was implemented as the radio technology. The HCA is parameterized via an optical interface. Since the HCA is battery-operated and should have a service life of 10 years, the transmission frequency was limited to one transmission every 2-6 hours, which is sufficient for a consumption billing. For requirements in the area of data protection, the option has also been implemented to limit the transmission intervals to 1 telegram per day, or per 7 or 14 days via LoRa® radio.
