wM-BUS to TCP Gateway Server
The wM-BUS server is a Windows PC program for wM-BUS protocols wM-BUS gateways to be received and systematically saved for further processing. The individual gateways can receive a modified setup from the server or, if necessary, new software.

The received wM-BUS data are saved in csv files with the time of receipt and wM-BUS raw data. The wM-BUS protocols are not decrypted or interpreted. The Meter Device Commander can take over the management of this received wM-BUS data, their decryption and processing into billable values.
wM-BUS Gateway
The wM-Bus gateway receives wireless M-Bus protocols in T / C / S mode, filters them as required, stores them and sends them to a server via an IP connection.

The gateway has no mobile data connection. It only uses existing networks. The gateway is particularly suitable for stationary reception of wM-BUS protocols using an existing internet connection. Internet routers are usually already in place. Usually nothing needs to be changed on the router.
Simply plug the gateway into the router's USB connection (optionally with a USB power supply unit) and connect it to the router with a network cable.

The gateway can optionally be parameterized via a website, USB interface or via the wM-BUS gateway server.
The received wM-BUS protocols can be filtered in the device in advance according to manufacturer, medium code and / or according to individual IDs.
The gateway sends the received and filtered data to the server either immediately, hourly, daily or monthly.
The free "wM-BUS to TCP Gateway Server" or an application developed by the user can be used as a server.

wM-Bus Reader, the Android app
The Android app wM-Bus Reader is a powerful tool for mobile reading of wM-Bus end devices. The app works with the
Bluetooth / wM-Bus receiver from our company. The app runs on almost all cell phones and tablets. The mobile must have the capability of Bluetooth reception. With the help of the Meter Device Commander, the readout route is created and then sent to the reader on his smartphone, for example by e-mail. The route file is read into the app.
The reader processes the route list and receives the status of the processing acoustically and visually.

Once all the data has been successfully collected, this data can be sent to the head office via e-mail from the app.
There the data can be read into the MDC.
The MDC decodes and decrypts the data and can export them formatted for further processing in a billing program.
The Android app does not require an AES key. The administration and use of the AES data takes place exclusively in the MDC.
